Who we are

Access ARM Pensions, (a subsidiary of the Access Holdings Plc.) is a licensed Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), birthed from the business combination of Access Pensions Limited and ARM Pensions Limited. In addition to approximately two (2) million Retirement Savings Accounts, the company has just about N3 trillion in Assets Under Management (AUM).

With total shareholder funds above the minimal statutory need, the Company is well capitalized. By 2027, we hope to have become market leaders in the pension fund administration and management sector by providing outstanding services to workers in the public, private, and informal sectors in compliance with the Pension Reform Act (PRA 2014).

Apart from RSAs, Access ARM Pensions manages other large Approved Existing Schemes (AESs) including the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), defined benefits schemes.  We also act as Lead PFA on some of the aforementioned schemes. These funds have been managed to the satisfaction of our sponsors till date.

We have been appointed by several states, including Niger, Kaduna, Lagos, Delta, Kebbi, Ogun, Jigawa, Edo, across the country to administer their Pension schemes. Additionally, we oversee the pension administration for various private organizations and institutional clients like Mobil, Chevron, NNPC, NPA etc.

Management Team

Gbenga Oyebode

Chairman

Gbenga co-founded Aluko & Oyebode (Barristers & Solicitors) and serves as Of Counsel. He holds degrees from the University of Ife (LL. B) and the University of Pennsylvania (LL.M). Admitted to practice law in Nigeria and New York, he has received multiple honorary doctorates and national honors, including the MFR. Gbenga has chaired prominent organisations like Access Bank Plc and currently chairs Okomu Oil Palm, Nestlé Nigeria, and Lafarge Africa. His extensive board roles include Socfinaf S.A., CFAO Nigeria, and various international philanthropic and cultural institutions.

Emenike D. Uduanu

Managing Director/CEO

Dave is the Chief Executive Officer of Access ARM Pensions Limited and a Trustee of the CFA Institute Research Foundation. He is also a past Chairman of the Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria. He previously worked at Ernst & Young and Alliance Consulting in Lagos and has held Board Positions in Insurance, Healthcare, and Asset Management. Dave initially qualified as a Civil Engineer and a Chartered Accountant in Nigeria. He also holds a Certificate in Institutional Private Equity Investing from the Said Business School at the University of Oxford and is a CFA charter holder.

Afolabi Folayan

Executive Director, Technical

Afolabi is the Executive Director overseeing Operations, HR, Finance and ICT. He previously served as an Executive Director of WSTC Financial Services Limited; CEO of Securities Africa Financial Limited and Executive Director/Chief Investment Officer of a Life Insurance Company. He has been involved in consumer lending, securities trading, and financial advisory transactions including privatization of state-owned enterprises and primary market issues. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Stockbroker, and a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsored individual.

Nuhu Aliyu Modibbo

Executive Director, Business Development

Nuhu is the Executive Director overseeing business development. He is a seasoned professional and alumnus of Lagos Business School, with over 27 years of postgraduate experience in the public and private sectors. He specializes in Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Operations, and Risk Management. A Certified Risk Analyst and Statistician, he has undergone leadership training at London Business School and is an Affiliate member of CISI. Notably, he has served as Head of Customer Relationship Management, Head of Risk Management, and led the Business Development Division North at Access Pensions.

Abimbola Sulaiman

Executive Director, Investment & Strategy

Abimbola is an investment expert with over 20 years of experience in local, regional, and global markets. As the Executive Director of investment at Access ARM Pensions, she oversees the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Investment Division at ARM Pension Managers, where she drove growth and optimized assets. With international experience at Fidelity Management & Research and Allan Gray, Abimbola has a strong focus on portfolio management and strategic investments. She holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from The Wharton School, and is a CFA Charter holder.

Obafunmilayo Agusto

Independent Non-Executive Director

Funmi is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Access ARM Pensions. He is experienced in Accounting & Finance, Auditing, Training, and Management Consulting. Funmi has a deep understanding of the Nigerian Financial System, the Capital Markets, and the major domestic investment asset classes. He is currently the Managing Director of IBFC Alliance Limited and serves on the board of two Nigerian banks. Funmi is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Chijioke Ugochukwu

Independent Non-Executive Director

Chijioke is an independent Non-Executive Director at Access ARM Pensions. She was an Executive Director, Shared Services, and Chief Information Officer at Fidelity Bank Plc. She is an alumnus of the Institute of Management Development (IMD), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School, Oxford Said Business School, Wharton Business School, and Columbia Business School. Chijioke is also an Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), the Institute of Directors of the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Registrars.

Remilekun Odunlami

Independent Non-Executive Director

Remi is an experienced Risk Manager with 30+ years of Banking and Risk Management expertise. She retired as Chief Risk Officer at First Bank Nigeria Ltd, overseeing risks and transactions in various sectors. She also served as a Non-Executive Director at FBN Bank, UK. Remi held prominent positions at Citibank Nigeria and Banque Internationale du Credit, DRC. She has served on boards in Finance, Real Estate, Oil Services, and Credit Referencing. Remi holds a mathematics degree, is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Access ARM Pensions board in Nigeria.

Bolaji Agbede

Non-Executive Director

Bolaji is a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience in human resources, customer relationship management, and banking operations. She began her career at Guaranty Trust Bank, 3 advancing to the Manager position in 2001. In 2003, she became CEO of JKG Limited before joining Access Bank as Assistant General Manager, managing chemical trading portfolios. Since 2010, she has led HR for the Access Bank Group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Cranfield University. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management UK and CIPM Nigeria and has completed leadership programs at IMD and London Business School.

Austin opara

Non-Executive Director

Austin is an accomplished marketing professional, political leader, and board executive with over three decades of experience across corporate, legislative, and strategic roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and is an alumnus of Harvard University, The Wharton School, and IMD Business School. As a former Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives (2003-2007), he played a pivotal role in legislative reforms, including contributions to the NDDC Act, and led key international parliamentary delegations. Currently, he serves as a Non-Executive Director at Access ARM Pensions Limited and has held leadership positions such as Chairman of the Rivers State Microfinance Agency and Abuja Investment Company Limited.

Okechukwu Nwuke

Non-Executive Director

Okey has over 28 years of experience in finance and corporate governance at leading commercial banks in Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, an honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, and a member of Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners. He sits on the Board of Coscharis Group Plc and its subsidiaries, He is an alumnus of renowned institutions including Harvard Business School, Boston and Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, INSEAD, and IMD.

Robert Imowo

Non-Executive Director

Robert has over 15 years of experience in banking and legal advisory services. He was a Senior Banking Officer at First City Monument Bank Plc after which he joined Access Bank Plc as the Head of advisory, Investment, and Syndication Support. He became the Group Head, Corporate Counsel/Legal Adviser in 2021. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Banker Institute. He is also a Senior Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria.

Oritsedere Otubu

Non-Executive Director

Oritsedere is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience spanning banking, insurance, power, and more. He chairs Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), Seaforce Investments, Elektron Energy (owners of Alausa Power), and Venture Garden Group, among 4 other companies. He has served on various boards, including Access Bank Plc, and is involved in educational initiatives at Western Delta University. He holds finance and economics degrees from Houston Baptist University and has completed executive courses at Harvard, Columbia, and INSEAD. A sports enthusiast, he is active in multiple clubs and past Chairman of the Delta Football Association.
